Sweeping Financial Changes for USA Cycling: News Brief

Bouchard-Hall became CEO of USAC in June 2015 and has since made it clear the governing body will now travel in a different direction. It will provide better sport development through amateur support and will devote more resources to clean sport.

The financial changes come on the heels of a recent announcement USAC will have a $1.2 million dollar budget shortfall in 2015. If the current financial situation is not changed, USAC could lose upwards of $2 million dollars in 2016 alone. It is a significant figure given USAC operates a roughly $15 million dollar annual budget.
