Louisville, Ky— The Student Cycling Coalition will host two free, hands-on bicycle equipment clinics for anyone in the Louisville area in Davidson Hall Room 105 on campus at the University of Louisville on Thursday, January 21st and Friday, January 22nd from 6-8pm both days. Participants will learn basic bicycle maintenance skills, proper winter cycling attire, fit of bicycle equipment, and what types of services bicycle shops offer. Participants are encouraged to bring their bicycles.
The free event will be made up of six different learning stations led by experienced UofL Cycling & Triathlon members and VO2 Multisport staff members. The stations will be: gear and brake adjustment, flat tire repairs, bike shop services, winter clothing, bicycle equipment fit, and an extra section of interacting with motorists.
Participants do not need to attend both sessions given the curriculum repeats. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP on our Facebook Event.
